The Granada Theater Concert Series presents American Rock icons The Beach Boys, on Friday, September 21, at 7:30 pm.
As the Beach Boys reach more than half a century of making music, the group continues to be known for their incomparable performances in America’s musical history. The Beach Boys have become the look of the Californian lifestyle and have become an icon to fans around the world. They will perform songs off their new studio album That’s Why God Made The Radio, in addition to their beloved classic hits.
Since The Beach Boys’ first hit, “Surfin’” in 1961, they have created dozens of other chart-toppers which have become never-ending anthems for the American youth. The Beach Boys have sold more than 100 million records worldwide along with receiving over 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards. They were also honored in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the 2001 Grammys receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. Having more than five decades of touring under their belts, The Beach Boys have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history.
The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who along with Jeffrey Foskett, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, Scott Totten and Christian Love continue the legacy of America’s iconic band. This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.
