Art comes in countless forms; painting, music, literature, dance, photography, poetry, the list goes on. Whatever the medium, art has the unparalleled ability to express the inner workings of the soul. The Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture has committed to keeping this magic alive by supporting arts and culture institutions, programs, initiatives and projects.

The Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture is introducing their Arts Making Impact (AMI) Grant Program. AMI is disbursing a generous $50,000 to support services ranging from art materials to instruction and even transportation. The program has previously aided countless art organizations including Carpinteria Arts CenterOrcutt Children’s Art Foundation, and Lompoc Mural Society.

Santa Barbara County artists, arts and cultural organizations, schools and community groups must apply online by October 1 and first time applicants must attend one of the grant workshops held throughout the county. For the application and more information, please visit sbac.ca.gov/county-grants.
