Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company has been working on a number of new additions. In the headquarters in Buelton, they have installed a 60 bbl BrauK on brewhouse, three new fermenters, a new Comac canning line, and more packaging equipment. Figueroa Mountain recently brought Tim Harbage on to the team as Buellton’s Head Brewer. Harbage is working with Kathinka Engineering and Engineered Brew as consultants to complete the project.
The company has also been working on a new canning line and packaging suite. Currently, they are running initial tests of four brands of Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company beers—Hoppy Poppy IPA, FMB 101 Blonde, Fig Mtn Light, and Lizard’s Mouth Imperial IPA. Until now, only the Hoppy Poppy cans have been revealed, but here is the first public look at all four cans scheduled for upcoming release.
In the coming weeks, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company’s first wave of can releases will be distributed in California and Arizona, in limited supply. As these cans enter the market, the company’s social media will announce a date for an extremely limited sale of cans at their multiple taprooms. The first cans will be available at taprooms on a first-come, first-served basis, with limits of one 6-pack per person of each brand.
