On Thursday, April 26, Belmond El Encanto continues their Winemaker Dinner series.
Situated in the beautiful mountains of Santa Barbara, Belmond El Encanto is the perfect setting for a luxurious, multi-course meal with selective wine parings. Prepared by Executive Chef Johan Denizot, the meal will be accompanied with wines by the exquisite winery, Château d’Esclans.
The Winemaker Dinner is hosted by Château d’Esclans Ambassador Alain Riviere, and will be held at The Dining Room at El Encanto with a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The menu will be as follows:
FIRST COURSE: Heirloom Beet Salad California goat cheese, pistachio spread Château d’Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé 2017
SECOND COURSE: Spotted Prawns Sashimi Lime caviar Château d’Esclans Rock Angel Rosé 2016
THIRD COURSE: Local Red Snapper Blistered tomatoes, fennel, bouillabaisse jus Château d’Esclans Les Clans Rosé 2016
FOURTH COURSE: Crispy Duck Confit Wild mushroom pain perdu, pomegranate mostarda Château d’Esclans Garrus Rosé 2016
DESSERT: Red Velvet Cake Cream cheese parfait, strawberries, strawberry sorbet
