The Radian String Quartet, comprised of violinist Mary Beth Woodruff, violinist Jane Chung, violist Basil Vendryes and cellist Andrew Smith will perform in concert at St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley in Los Olivos on Friday, March 9, at 7 p.m.

The public is invited to attend.

Noted for their passion, brilliant musicianship and ambitious programs, the Radian String Quartet performs three masterworks of chamber music: The ‘Hunt’ Quartet k.458. by Amadeus Mozart, Webern’s 5 Pieces, Op. 5, and the Brahms C minor Quartet, Op. 511.

The 38th annual Santa Ynez Valley Classical Music Series continues this spring with these artists:

Friday, April 27: Robert Cassidy (piano) and Ani Aznavoorian (cello, Principal Cellist of Camerata Pacifica)

Friday, June 22: Nichole Dechaine (soprano) with Beverly Staples (piano). *Note this new date (was previously scheduled for May 5, 2018. Tickets already purchased will be honored).

 Doors for each concert open 30 minutes prior to the start with tickets being sold at the door as well as online in advance at https://www.smitv.org/concerts.html There will be a complimentary reception following each concert to meet the artists and enjoy conversation and refreshments.  Known for its stunning acoustics, St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley Church is located at 2901 Nojoqui Ave. in Los Olivos, (one block west from the flagpole).  www.smitv.org
