Shrub cocktails take center stage at a special cocktail pairing dinner on March 9 at Bottlest Bistro in Buellton, photo courtesy Bottlest.

On Friday, March 9, Bottlest Bistro partners with Wandering Dog Wine Bar and Broken Clock Vinegar Works to present a five-course, specially prepared dinner, paired with shrub-infused cocktails!

New to the scene, shrubs are vinegar-based syrups infused with an array of fruit flavors and spices. The addition of these unique syrups make for an authentic twist to classic cocktails such as margaritas, Moscow mules, mohitos and more!

You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience to enjoy delicious food and cocktail pairings! The menu is as follows:

1st Course:
Oyster with Yuzu Mignonette

Shrub Cocktail Pairing: Hopped Mango Shrub with IPA Shandy

2nd Course:
Mixed Green Salad with Burrata Cheese and Poached Pear

Shrub Cocktail Pairing: Prickly Pear & Kaffir Lime Shrub with Tequila Paloma

3rd Course:
Marinated Hamachi Crudo with Rice Cracker and Nori Vinaigrette

Shrub Cocktail Pairing: Blackberry & Lemongrass Shrub Daiquiri

4th Course:
Roasted Chicken with Peach BBQ Sauce, Green Beans and Whipped Sweet Potato

Shrub Cocktail Pairing: Peach & Jalapeno Shrub with Spicy Mule

5th Course:
Blueberry Cobbler with Beet Chantilly

Shrub Cocktail Pairing: Blueberry & Vanilla Shrub with Bubbly

The Shrub Cocktail Dinner will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Bottlest Bistro (35 Industrial Way) in Buellton. Reservations can be made through the restaurant’s website.
