The Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara’s Teen Comedy Club presents Knish & Comedy, a night of comedy on Thursday, February 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation’s Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center, located at 524 Chapala St.
The show features Shawn Pelofsky, a sassy woman that blows audiences away with her physical comedy and high energy. Her ability to nickname and work a crowd is astounding, as she’s been performing since the bright, young age of eight. You do not want to miss Lady HaHa!
Also performing that night is Tom Clark, born and raised—as he likes to say—in that order. Clark has traveled coast to coast and across the globe performing stand up. He has made appearances on several shows, including TBS’s Conan and CBS’s Late, Late Show, as well as Comedy Central’s Premium Blend.
Teen Comedy Club is a free program held at the Bronfman Family JCC, Mondays from 4:15-5:15 p.m. It is led by seasoned writer, producer and comedian Louise Palanker, who has been teaching comedy club at the JCC for nearly 10 years, and mentoring teens for many more.
Tickets for the night are $10 general admission and $5 for students & seniors, and include a light knish dinner and a lot of laughter!
RSVP’s are requested, but not required. For more information, visit www.jewishsantabarbara.org/comedy or contact RSVP@sbjf.org.
