The Atkinson Gallery presents Herself: Girlhood in Stop Motion Film, an exhibit exploring the complexities of girlhood and coming of age, beginning Friday, January 26. Featuring video, stills, drawings, and objects, Herself opens with a public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Arrive an hour early to attend a discussion with contributing artists, Laura Krifka and Heidi Kumao, in Room 111 of Santa Barbara City College’s Humanities Building, located at 721 Cliff Dr.
