Sullivan Goss presents “Objects of Impossibility: Contemporary Abstraction,” a new exhibition of contemporary abstract works by nine artists with distinct approaches to the 100 year old tradition of non-objective art. It will be on exhibit until February 26.

Appreciate and admire the diverse works of John Carlander, Connie Connally, David Cooley, Peggy Ferris, Neal Goodman, Julika Lackner, R. Nelson Parrish, Erik Reel and Glynis C. Tinglof. For some of the artists, the images are inspired by nature. For others, they are inspired by a desire to represent something “beyond” nature. In each case the lack of obvious recognizable objects results in works of art that are evocative on their own visual terms. Their works have been showcased on local, national and international stages, and have received countless accolades and press attention. This much talent in one room cannot be missed!

Visit www.sullivangoss.com for more information. The gallery is located at 11 E. Anapamu St.
