UCSB MFA Thesis Exhibition & Reception
UCSB 2016 MFA Thesis Exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on May 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at AD&A Museum.
After two years of paint, sweat, and tears, UCSB graduates share their diverse approaches to making and media. A culmination of hard work, thinking, and being, both inside and out of the graduate studios, each brings their own investigation and subjectivities to the world around them. Despite different creative processes, each is united by the collective experience of space, time and conversation in their corner of artistic-paradise.
Come celebrate graduates Emily Baker, Vanesa Gingold, Morgan McAllister, Tom Parderka, George Sanders and Shannon Wills in completing their most important work yet as they sit at the threshold of very promising careers.
The exhibition is on view May 14-29; Wednesday-Sunday 12-5 p.m. and Thursday 12-8 p.m. For more information visit arts.ucsb.edu.
