The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP) works to protect, preserve, restore, reconstruct and interpret historic sites in Santa Barbara County. On Thurs., Apr. 14 at 7 p.m.,  SBTHP will host a lecture at the Casa de la Guerra (15 E. De La Guerra St.), featuring Professor of Architecture at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, Lauren Weiss Bricker, Ph.D.; architect Marc Appleton of Appleton Partners LLP; and SBTHP curator Rose Thomas.

The panel will offer individual presentations about Reginald Johnson’s significance to the profession of architecture and his contribution to the community of Santa Barbara, with time afterward for questions and discussion.

This evening is part of a series of programs supporting the exhibit Building Community: Reginald D. Johnson, Architect, which is on display at Casa de la Guerra until Sept. 18.
