ArchitecTours 2014 Focus on Sustainable Living

Santa Barbara is renowned for its beautiful architecture—Join American Institute of Architects (AIA) Santa Barbara for this year’s ArchitecTours focusing on “Sustainable Living.”

This annual public tour will highlight the latest in Santa Barbara design by AIA architects, and will be held on October 4 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The theme for the tour is “sustainable living,” and will focus on sustainability, re-use, environmental compatibility, and energy economy. Attendees will be able to tour eight Santa Barbara projects at their leisure, and are invited to an after-party hosted by Hayward Design Center from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The tour projects include multi-family residences, commercial/institutional designs, and new and remodeled houses.

Tickets for the tour are $65 for the general public and $55 for students, seniors, and AIA members. Smoking and photography will not be allowed at any of the properties. For more information on the tour, click here.
