SeaVees Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Renny Yater Board

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Santa Barbara-based SeaVees launches The Legends Series, a year-long celebration of legends who embody the authentic Californian lifestyle and are creating limited edition items whose proceeds will go to various charities.

The first Legend  is  Renny Yater. The legendary surfboard shaper has made a one-of-a-kind longboard, auction opens March 16 – 26. All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara, the charity of Yater’s choice. In addition, 10% of the sales of SeaVees Standard 08/63 Hermosa Plimsoll will also go to the Cancer Center for the month of the auction.

“Legends define history, even help us define ourselves,” says Steven Tiller, CEO and Chief Designer of SeaVees. “It is thrilling to be able to honor them this year.”
