When Peter Gaum was playing around with some ingredients for desserts in the kitchen of Santa Barbara Baking Company, little did he know that it would inspire the flavor combinations that he would later craft into the Santa Barbara Bar. Now you’d be hard pressed to find a Santa Barbara square mile not offering the tasty bars, in flavors such as Peanut Chocolate Cherry and Cranberry White Chocolate, with more on the horizon. Originally produced as a healthy snack for Gaum’s friends and family, Santa Barbara Bar has quickly become a favorite grab-and-go bar since its launch last May. Gobble them up from places such as Daily Grind, Isabella Gourmet Foods and Bookends Café.
