It’s the time of year, where we all gather at our respective small or large dining tables and toast to all that we are thankful for—but how can we know what should be in our glasses? That’s why Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant is offering a test-run/warm-up for the big day during its weekly Monday Night Flight Arrangement on this coming Monday, November 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Chef Weston of Spare Parts will serve up a Turkey Day feast, with three wines to perfectly pair with the likes of Turkey Ballotine, gravy, Brussel sprouts—you name the Thanksgiving dish, and the Les Marchands guys will have a wine for it. For this flight, sip on 2009 Domaine Huët Vouvray Petillant, 2011 Domaine Weinbach Riesling ‘Cuvee Theo’ and 2012 Philippe Alliet Chinon—if you fall in love with the pairings, you might just have to return home with a Thanksgiving Holiday Pack featuring the three wines (or two bottles of each if you opt for the “Extended Family” pack).
Enjoy a dress rehearsal of Thanksgiving Day, raise any lingering questions you may have with these master sommeliers, and leave with the confidence that you might just be able to pull off Thanksgiving without a hitch. For more information, please click here, and be sure to check for each week’s Monday Night Flight theme.
