The government as we know it is currently shut down, but that doesn’t stop Westmont from bringing political insight and interest to Santa Barbara. On October 9 at 11 a.m., Westmont College will sponsor a luncheon with Nobel Peace Laureate and former secretary of state (’73-77) Henry Kissinger, who will speak on a variety of topics surrounding today’s political climate.
At this intimate luncheon, Kissinger will discuss current events and diplomacy, and with everything currently happening (or not happening, really) on Capitol Hill, his insight will be as interesting as ever.
Even at the age of 90, Kissinger is considered one of the brilliant minds in American politics and diplomacy, still acting as an influential public figure who lends his opinions and expertise to U.S. presidents and secretaries of state. You won’t want to miss sitting down with this American legend.
