If you’re looking for something to do (and eat) between this weekend’s Fiesta events, we’ve got the thing for you: SOhO Restaurant & Music Club is hosting a Sustainable, Organic and Local (SOL) tasting menu tonight! Opening its doors to the whole family at 7 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to taste the creations of several local artisans, such as Sugar & Salt Creamery, Mesa Salsa Co, Pascale’s Kitchen, The Juice Club and Casitas Valley Creamery, who will be available to answer your questions while you sample.
Tonight’s SOhO SOL menu will be paired with Alma Rosa Wine as well as guest bartender Ian Cutler’s farm-to-bar cocktails. As if that wasn’t enough, Yaffah will perform an acoustic set until 9 p.m., at which point the live music will continue with Adam Phillips Band and Cali Conscious.
Proceeds from tonight’s event will benefit the fourth annual SOL Food Festival, a one-day community festival that honors local farmers, chefs, organizations and individuals who work to improve the food system, which will take place on Saturday, September 28 in Vera Cruz Park from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
SOhO Restaurant and Music Venue is located at 1221 State St. #205. Tickets for the SOL restaurant menu event tonight include the tasting menu with wine pairings, samples by local artisans and live music, and can be purchased online here or at the door.
