All Aboard for a Tasty Maritime Museum Fundraiser
Santa Barbara is known for its ocean views, fine wine and dining, and cultural hot-spots. Come enjoy all three while supporting a great cause at Santa Barbara Maritime Museum‘s (SBMM) Annual Celebration fundraiser on Saturday, March 9. The theme this year is Harbor Tastings & Treasures, with the evening honoring Thomas C. Parker, president of the Hutton Parker Foundation.
SBMM, located along a stretch of beautiful coast overlooking the harbor, invites guests and donors to continue their support of the museum’s educational programs. Over 30 restaurants will participate, offering samples of wine, spirits, beer and fine cuisine. Some restaurants will compete for prizes awarded by a panel of celebrity judges including James Sly of Sly’s Restaurant, Michael Hutchings of Julia Child’s Dinner at Julia’s and Michael Cervin of Santa Barbara News Press.
The night will also include auctions, where guests can bid on items and outings such as a private tour of Reagan Ranch, cruises aboard the Condor Express and the SBMM flagship Ranger, and a private Fourth of July Fireworks viewing from the museum.
The celebration takes place from 5–9 p.m. Tables are available for reservation. Call 805/962-8404 ext. 102 or send an email to development@sbmm.org. SBMM accepts all donations!
