The sixties were a rockin’ time for the Monkees, and 2012 brings them back for a reunion tour, with their second stop being Santa Barbara.
The three surviving members of the Monkees, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith plan to visit twelve cities, beginning November 8th. Lead singer Davy Jones unfortunately passed away last February from a sudden heart attack, but the band plans to include many multimedia tributes to their band mate. This reunion tour marks the first performances that Nesmith has had with the Monkees since 1997, and will be the first ever performances without Jones.
These legends will make believers out of their Arlington Theatre audience while bringing back their international hits, such as “I’m a Believer,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday” and “Last Train to Clarksville.”
Tickets go on sale this Saturday, August 11 for the November 9th show. For more information, please click here.
