The Open Studios Tour will take place throughout Santa Barbara from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on August 25 and 26. Enjoy a self-guided driving tour through Santa Barbara’s stunning back roads and charming neighborhoods to visit the private studios of leading professional artists. Discover all forms and mediums of art in this award-winning collection of landscape, contemporary and figurative painting, as well as sculpture and assemblage.

August 2 marks the Exhibitions’ Preview Opening in conjunction with downtown Santa Barbara’s ‘First Thursday’ of the month. Art collectors and tour participants are invited to attend the Preview Exhibition opening and meet the artists while also enjoying food and wine. Here participants can plan on which studios they would like to visit on the tour later in the month.
From August 2-29, the month-long Preview Exhibition will feature works from

the Santa Barbara Studio Artists and give attendees the opportunity to choose between around 40 studios to visit during the two-day tour.
On August 24, the artists will come together for the Opening Artists’ Reception and will each display one piece of their work as well as mingle with collectors and tour participants. Along with great conversations, participants will enjoy food and wine.
