We are very pleased to announce that Custom Media Group, our publishing company, has received four Western Publishing Association (WPA) Awards of Excellence! The WPA Awards are given every year to the best publications on the West Coast. both to overall publications and to specific issues of those magazines, web magazines, visitor guides, informational guides, and books.
Santa Barbara Seasons’s received an excellence award in Quarterlies, in which our Spring 2011 issue grabbed the WPA’s attention. Other publications by Custom Media Group were gifted awards in their respective fields as well. For the Guides, Catalogues & Directories category, our Santa Barbara Media Field Guide ranked among the best on the West Coast, and in Visitors Guides, both the 2011 Solvang & Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Guide and the 2011 Ventura Visitors Guide were recognized for excellence.
We at Seasons are so thrilled to be the recipients of this award during our tenth anniversary issue, as Greg Corso, our vice-president, states: “Receiving this award in our tenth anniversary year of publishing Seasons is so significant for us. Despite the volatile economy over the past decade, it really affirms that quality magazines have a place in our world still today.”

As well as winning the aforementioned awards, Visit California/The California Travel & Tourism Commission has named our 2011 San Luis Obispo County Visitors Guide the “Best Visitors Guide” in California.
