Santa Barbara Botanic Garden hosts its annual Trails ‘n’ Tails event in honor of National Dog Day, where dogs and their well-behaved humans can enjoy a stroll around the lush gardens and a festival with fun activities, vendor booths and yummy treats.
Canines will be pampered with free doggie snacks, while participating in doggie giveaways, prize drawings and the “Doggie in the Meadow” photo contest, whose winner earns a one year Dog membership to the garden. Owners can further indulge their small friends with dog products for sale, dog caricatures and dog resources and advice.
Best of all, Trails ‘n’ Tails is completely free for visitors and their leashed companions. Don’t miss this opportunity to view the expansive Santa Barbara Botanical Garden while treating your pup, making new furry friends and scoring some doggie loot.
