As Halloween candy creeps up on up this weekend, save some of your tastebuds for National Curry Week. This Friday, October 28, enjoy an evening with tasty exotic food freshly made with organic and Fair Trade spices from the Spicy Gourmet, which was featured in the fall issue of Santa Barbara SEASONS.
Delicious appetizer padums with mint coconut salsa will be served at 6:30 p.m. along with a spice demonstration showing how you can prepare curries at home. A variety of entrees like; Kaha Bath (Yellow Fried Rice), Kukul Mas (Chicken Curry), Isso (Shrimp Curry), Brinjal Moju (Eggplant Curry), and more will be served at 7:30 p.m. along with complimentary beverages. Be sure to save some room for mango coulis with vanilla sorbet for dessert.
