For its fourth annual Salon Series, Arts Fund Santa Barbara is bringing you four opportunities to meet distinguished artists, collectors, curators and design professionals in an intimate setting. Spaced throughout the summer between late June and early September, these salons will take place in private homes, studios and galleries throughout Santa Barbara.
First, discuss Outsider Art at Just Folk with Susan Baerwald, the co-owner of the gallery. Then join Susan Rose and Alan Ghitterman in their own home to learn the intricacies of building an art collection along with Ginny Brush, Executive Director of the SB County Arts Commission. Next, visit the award-winning Riviera home of Paul and Annie de Bruyn Kops to get an insider’s insight on art and architecture with architect Jeff Shelton and his brother David Shelton. Finally, venture out to Cayetana Conrad’s Toro Canyon art studio and home to engage sibling Nicholas and Helen Gazin in a discussion about the role of social media in marketing their work.
