The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club enters its “High Goal Season,” at the Engel & Völkers Polo Stadium this week. Not only is this season filled with world-class polo players and thrilling competition, but numerous activities off the field for guests. The highly anticipated 16 Goal Series begins Sunday, July 15. The 16 Goal Series schedule is as follows:

- Maserati of Santa Barbara, USPA America Cup, July 27 – August 12
- Silver Air Pacific Coast Open, August 16 – September 2
Ladies Hat Day, July 22
Ladies Hat Day is a fashionable competition that takes place Sunday, July 22, during the Belmond El Encanto Robert Skene Trophy Final. No registration is necessary, and all ages are encouraged to wear their hats and join the festivities during the halftime divot stomp for judging. Entry is complimentary with ticket purchase.
Sip & Shop Trunk Show at the Polo Boutique, August 10
Sip & Shop trunk show and reception take place at the Polo Boutique on Friday, August 10 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. It features artisan leather goods from Rocio G, a preview of the new Lucchese Ladies line by Erin Wasson, and much more. Tailgating for the Silver Air PCO Final, September 2
Tailgating is open to the public during the finals of the Silver Air Pacific Coast Open High Goal Series, September 2. Guests can bring their own refreshments, or purchase food and beverage as always from the Club Grill. Tailgate tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The Club continues their Happy Hour every Friday from 4 – 6 p.m. (with the exception of the Silver Air Pacific Coast Open tournament, during which Happy Hours will be on Thursdays August 16, 23 and 30), including a delicious menu of small bites for purchase that will pair perfectly with signature cocktails, wine and beer from the bar. The popular “Polo After Hours” party will also last throughout the summer after Sunday Polo matches, where guests can enjoy dancing and live entertainment courtesy of DJ Fab. The no-host bar will stay open, containing many of the Club’s signature cocktails, wine, and beer.
