First-ever Los Olivos Summer Supper Concert Series

This concert series welcomes all ages to enjoy food and music outdoors on three Thursday evenings to support St. Mark’s Preschool. This series begins on Thursday June 14, followed by Thursday, July 12, and closing on Thursday, August 9. Each week, the concert will start at 5 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. in the garden courtyard at St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley church. This church is located at 2901 Nojoqui Ave., one block away from the flagpole in downtown Los Olivos.

Each Los Olivos Summer Supper Concert begins with themed food and beverages at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 5:30 p.m., and will conclude at 8 p.m. All performances are coordinated by Jon Harris of JSH Productions of Solvang. Thursday, June 14—Cajun Style Fixings with the New Orleans Jazz Quintet

Groove to tenor sax, piano/keyboards, stand-up bass, drums and vocals with swinging’, funky beats.

Thursday, July 12—Burgers & Dogs BBQ with “Make It Last All Night” Tom Petty Tribute Band

Featuring lead singer/guitarist Erich Schneider from Los Angeles, this classic rock Tom Petty tribute-style band will get you singing along to hits such as “American Girl” and “Learning to Fly.”

Thursday, August 9—Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip Barbecue with “Just Dave” Country Band

Featuring lead singer, acoustic guitarist and harmonica player Dave Bernal, this band plays some legit country tunes.

St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley Preschool is a nonprofit organization that welcomes all children ages two and a half years to Pre-Kindergarten. St. Mark’s offers a setting that admires the relaxed days of childhood by supporting and encouraging children to grow, learn, and respect others and themselves. This small Los Olivos school is proud of serving the area for the past 11 years.
