Looking for a tasty place to dine with dad this Father’s Day? The options are endless. From backyard barbecues to farm-fresh tapas, there is sure to be a place that the whole family enjoys. Here’s a quick round-up of eight Santa Barbara County places serving up Father’s Day specials:

The Bear and Star

Hosted in their Back Garden, The Bear and Star celebrates the holiday with a Backyard BBQ created by Chef John Cox and his team. The casual and social picnic gives fathers the chance to relax with a complimentary cold beer and join in a game cornhole with their kids. Finch & Fork 

Executive Chef Peter Cham prepares a mouth-water BBQ style bonanza with ribs, cornbread, and baked beans. Enjoy this meal all while soaking in the breathtaking views of Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands atop the Kimpton Canary Hotel. They are also serving local craft brews. Helena Avenue Bakery

In addition to their artisan pastries, breakfast, grab & go sandwiches, fresh salads and picnic foods, Chef Adam Shoebridge showcases his Nashville-Style Hot Fried Chicken with Chili Oil and Spicy Dry Rub Served with Side and Traditional White Bread for Father’s Day. For more details, click here.

The Lark 

Dads are greeted with complimentary Pale Ale to start the evening at The Lark. Chef Jason Paluska adds as a special Fairhill Farms Grilled Stone Fruit with Duck Breast Prosciutto, Whipped Feta, Spiced Almond & Rosemary; Niman Ranch Pork Chop with Crispy Sunchokes, Ellwood Canyon Summer Squash, Smoked Cherries & Banyuls Pork Jus; and Dad’s Pecan Pie with Wildflower Honey Ice Cream & Whiskey Caramel to the standard à la carte menu. For more details, click here.

Chef Weston Richard has prepared a family-friendly Father’s Day Brunch that features an Open-Faced Lamb Meatball Sandwich with Moroccan Spiced Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Crispy French Fries & House-made Pickle.
