Bird Forgiveness

Author of the new poetry book, Bird Forgiveness, Melinda Palacio will be in the Santa Barbara area for several readings and book signings this summer.

Melinda Palacio is a Southern California native who lives part time in both Santa Barbara and New Orleans. She holds two degrees in Comparative Literature, with a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an M.A. from UC Santa Cruz. Palacio has had her work published in a variety of journals and anthologies, including Askew Poetry Journal, Poets of the American West, Strange Cargo and Academy of American Poets.

Her new book of poetry, Bird Forgiveness, was released this May from 3: A Taos Press and has been awarded praise by authors Rodney Jones and Lee Herrick. Look out for Palacio’s tour dates to learn more about her book this summer.
