At the headquarters, you can purchase merchandise and festival tickets while admiring an exhibition of puppetry art by one of Santa Barbara’s most talented puppet builders, Christina McCarthy. McCarthy is the current Vice Chair and Director of Dance at the UCSB Theater and Dance Departmentwhere she dedicates her time to finding inventive, new ways to make puppets move in an astonishingly life-like manner. Her three-dimensional art explores the intersection of puppets, theater, and dance.
