Spirits of the Season: Ascendant Spirit’s Mexican Hot Chocolate

Ghost Chili Mexican Hot Chocolate (makes 2 mugs)

2 cups whole milk

4 ounces bittersweet chocolate

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2oz American Star Ghost Chili Vodka

Heat the milk to a low simmer then stir in the the sugar and chocolate. After fully incorporated stir in the vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  Allow to cool for a few minutes and right before serving stir in the Ghost Chili Vodka.  Garnish with marshmallows if desired.
