In partnership with the Santa Barbara Art Association (SBAA), Art at the JCC hosts a juried show at the Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center from September 1-October 24. The show features a mix of approximately one hundred works from various genres submitted by SBAA members and selected by Frank Goss, formerly of Sullivan Goss – An American Gallery.
Founded over 60 years ago, the Santa Barbara Art Association is a nonprofit organization including more than 500 artists who exhibit their original works in diverse media at local venues such as the Faulkner Gallery in the Santa Barbara Public Library and Gallery 113.
The opening reception will be held during Santa Barbara’s 1st Thursday events on Thursday, September 7 from 5-8 p.m. at the Jewish Federation’s Bronfman Family JCC, 524 Chapala St.
In addition to showcasing up to 100 pieces by local artists, the reception will offer wine, hors d’oeuvres, and live music by Trudy & Oscar, who will sing Latin, Samba, Bossa Nova, Pop and original songs on guitar. The reception is free and open to all.
