Janson is a Missouri native but started his professional country music career in Nashville, Tennessee immediately after high school. He co-wrote and recorded two duets with singer-songwriter Holly Williams in 2009, which garnered attention from several well-known record labels. Janson was signed later that year and released his debut single, “Til a Woman Comes Along” in 2010.
Janson has helped write or contribute to singles for several talented country singers, including Tim McGraw, Justin Moore and Lee Brice. He has also opened for impressive performers like Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton. Now Janson is enjoying success as a solo artist, well earned from his hard work the last five years.
His release of “Better I Don’t” in 2013 reached the top 40 on Billboard’s Country Airplay. That same year he released his first album, Take It to the Bank. In 2015, Janson self-released the single, “Buy Me a Boat,” which is his first song to reach top five on the charts and has almost 65 million views on YouTube. The Buy Me a Boat album reached the number three spot on Country Airplay and number one on Mediabase, and includes popular singles, “Power of Positive Drinkin” and “Holdin Her.”
