The streets of the Funk Zone will soon be bustling with eager diners jumping between eateries, bars and restaurants. The quest: purchase (and drink) a Negroni at five Acme Hospitality properties and help support local nonprofits at the same time!
The Lark, Lucky Penny, Loquita, Helena Avenue Bakery and Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant host the drinking marathon from June 5 through June 9 whereupon participants will have the option of getting a “negroni passport.” When five negronis have been consumed, a $20 food voucher will be awarded. This card can be redeemed for a Lark snack or dessert, a Lucky Penny pizza, a Les Marchands brunch item, Loquita tapas or dessert, Helena Avenue Bakery breakfast and more, valid at any of the five properties.
Acme Hospitality’s ultimate goal is to funnel support into worthy local charities: Santa Barbara Humane Society, Angels Foster Care of Santa Barbara, Food from the Heart of Santa Barbara, YStrive for Youth, Inc. and Heal the Ocean are each represented by one restaurant. Acme Hospitality’s restaurants have earned a number of food and beverage accolades in the past. Now they wish to use their stellar Negronis and savory food to give back to the community.
