Artistic Director Nuvi Mehta has announced that the Ventura Music Festival (VMF), held from July 13-16 and 21-23, will be headlined by Michael Feinstein for its 23rd season.
The festival’s theme “An American Season” features impressive classical, jazz and genre-defying music performed by talented artists from all over the world.
With nine concerts held in the Ventura College Performing Arts Center (4700 Loma Vista Rd.), the festival features J2B2 (John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band) on Thursday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m., Roger Kellaway on Friday, June 14 at 8 p.m., Anderson & Roe Piano Duo on Saturday, July 15 at 8 p.m., Nuvi Mehta & Friends on Sunday, July 16 at 7 p.m., Perla Batalla on Friday, July 21 at 8 p.m., Simply Three on Saturday, July 22 at 8 p.m., Michael Feinstein on Sunday, July 23 at 7 p.m., Festival Brass Quintet at Pierpont Inn (550 Sanjon Rd.) on Fridays, July 14 & 21 at 3 p.m. and Fire & Grace Benefit Concert at Museum of Ventura County (100 E. Main St.) on Sunday, May 6 at 8 p.m.
