The Dream Foundation will host its Third Annual Summer Dream Fundraiser on June 3 from 4 — 7 p.m. at the Nesbitt Estate in Carpinteria. The Dream Foundation is the only national dream-granting organization for terminally-ill adults. This year’s Summer Dream includes a summer-themed fashion show and cocktail party to benefit the Dreamers.

The Summer Dream Fundraiser is a high energy, entertaining event that benefits terminally ill adults aged 18 to 40. The fashion show features Calypso St. Barth and local designers Catherine Gee, K. Frank, Lole, Miller’s Oath, Rocha Swim and Tropical Affair.

Brandi Lentini will appear for a special performance and there will be a special appearance by local best-selling authors “The Double Energy Twins” Judi and Shari Zucker. There will be complimentary food and beverage offerings from Patron Tequila, Summerland Winery, Topa Topa, Heat Culinary and Rori’s Artisanal Creamery. KEYT-TV’s Chief Meteorologist and devoted Dream Foundation supporter, Alan Rose will entertain the crowd at the emcee for the evening.

The dazzling evening will also include a raffle, silent auction and entertainment by the Aqualillies, the synchronized swimming group.

“Summer Dream is a wonderful event to educate our local community about our mission, goals, and most importantly our Dreamers,” says Dream Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer Kisa Heyer. ”Many are surprised to learn that almost 20 percent of our Dreamers are between the ages of 18 and 40. We hope this illumination will lead to a greater understanding and urgency to support Dream Foundation and final Dreams that are providing inspiration, comfort and closure to thousands each year.”

One hundred percent of the proceeds made from the event will go toward fulfilling the dreams of terminally ill adults.

Tickets for Summer Dream are now available for purchase dreamfoundation.org/summerdream. For more information, visit dreamfoundation.org.
