The Guilded Table is a breath of fresh air for shoppers, who can browse the lovely products made by the different vendors and sip a glass of wine at the same time.

Kassie Goodman created this lively artisan collective “to stay true to the spirit of the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, which at its roots is an artistic community. I wanted to create a community of makers, designers and artists who can work in the space, sell their goods in the space and host workshops and events.”

Vendors include:

Ace Rivington, a men’s lifestyle brand inspired by travel and adventure, sells a range of items from fashion basics to home goods and accessories. Beau Lawrence, founder and president, encourages the experiential retail experience. “There’s nothing quite like the balance of quality time spent with friends, having a great meal at the Nook or drinks from Lama Dog, mixed with a stroll through the Guilded Table space to see what’s happening with inspired local brands.”

Meadow Rose Photo Art carries a variety of beautifully crafted photos on wood. A self-described country girl at heart, Rose desired a more creative way to showcase her photos. Calling the process of creating her art a “trade secret,” she explains, “It’s a print process—a technique that allows the wood grain and knots to show through the images (digital photographs) to enhance the style and composition.” Customers and tourists alike particularly enjoy the local shots, which perfectly embody the beachy lifestyle.

Jules by the Sea, Santa Barbara also attributes the beach as inspiration for its pieces, which range from simple rings to 14k gold necklaces. Jules Kramer founded her boutique after creating jewelry from pieces of sea glass from Butterfly Beach. “I try to find gemstones or metal beads that match my Boho Beach Lifestyle brand. I will then just start creating and make three to ten pieces of something I like and that fits into the assortment,” she says. The Guilded Table is the ideal layout for her small business, allowing her to have jewelry workshops, which she plans to hold once a month.
BED | STÜ began in a small Los Angeles warehouse in 1995 and has grown into a successful handcrafted leather goods brand, carrying shoes, boots and bags of the highest quality leather made by hand in Mexico. Andrew Forbes, COO, details, “The leathers are hand cut, hand sewn, washed and tumbled for softness and individually finished.” BED | STÜ also carries an organic collection, with vegetable tanned leathers, free from harmful heavy metals. Forbes states, “We believe the true beauty of our product is found in the natural imperfections.”

Karley Mase started Salt & Steel Collective as a clothing label focused on the Santa Barbara lifestyle, selling clothes, beach blankets, throws, baseball caps, beanies, coffee mugs and more.

Labeling the Guilded Table as a “miniature mall,” Mase has always desired a brick-and-mortar presence in Santa Barbara and enjoys the unexpected atmosphere and combination of the shared space.

Blankita, the satellite showcase for Montecito’s Blanka Boutique, features the boho luxury style of Jennie Stierwalt, a former stylist for Wilhelmina Models, who specializes in contemporary woman’s ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.

Asher Market, started by sisters Ashley and Erin, sells everything from alpaca throws, scarves and ponchos to beanies, bags and baby clothing. The sisters are always searching for eye-catching pieces when they travel, going to Peru every year to bring back these stunning products. “Our motto is ‘Live Beautifully,’ so I try to bring back products that are unique yet functional so that our customers can find something that calls to their unique selves,” says Ashley.
