Clear your Saturday schedules—Lotusland has several fun events in store for the next few months that are sure to be weekend highlights!
Peruse the magnificent epiphyllum and cactus blooms in a group or on your own during Cacti and Cocktails on Saturday May 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. Gates are set to open at 2:30 p.m. Specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served as you enjoy a picturesque stroll in the afternoon light.
Surprise Mom or another lucky lady in your life with the Mother’s Day Tea and Tour on Saturday May 13 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. As one of the most popular events of the season, guests are in for a treat as they tour the garden and relax on the patio pavilion with complimentary tea and refreshments.
Lotusland members are invited to bring the family out for a day of exploration, music, games, crafts and more! This year’s Members’ Family Day promises to be the best yet, with complimentary drinks and ice cream that’ll satisfy children and parents alike! The fun kicks off on Saturday May 20 from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free for members.
Prepare for the summer season at the June Solstice Twilight Tour on Saturday June 10 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Take in the sights and scents of Lotusland’s beautiful gardens and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres on the geranium terrace overlooking the main lawn.
Celebrate Lotusland’s namesake, the spectacular lotus flower, at this year’s LotusFest! 2017 on Saturday July 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy wine tasting, craft beer, delectable hors d’oeuvres, live music and more as they view the lotus in its peak blooming season.
To round out the upcoming event roster, Lotusland invites the community to attend the hottest event of the summer season at Lotusland Celebrates: Avant Garden. This fundraising gala is Lotusland’s signature event and has a history of selling out, so plan ahead early to avoid missing out! It all takes place on Saturday July 29 from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
