On Sunday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m., AHA! (Attitude.Harmony.Achievement.) presents Sing It Out, an annual performance by a dozen select after school program members, at the Lobero Theatre (33 E. Canon Perdido St.).
AHA! is a nonprofit organization devoted to the prevention of school bullying and development of self-confidence among teenagers aged 13-19 through the approach of creative expression and social and emotional learning.
Beginning as a response to the Columbine tragedy, AHA! is now nationally recognized as one of the top eight after school programs in America.
After three months of mentoring and training of 12 amateur singers, the show will feature solo renditions of rock-and-roll covers, supported by Tina Schlieske and the Graceland Exiles with Sister Laura.
