Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB) brings art outdoors with takepart | makeart: arte para todos. The vibrant exhibition runs through August 2017. The opening reception and community celebration take place on Sunday, March 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. on Stearns Wharf, 217 Stearns Wharf.

The art pavilion, Runaway, designed by Molly Hunker and Greg Corso of SPORTS, will travel to Santa Barbara’s Waterfront, Westside, and Isla Vista neighborhoods. Each location features innovative arts programs led by artists Cruz Ortiz, Tanya Aguiñiga, and desertArtLAB, including art workshops, performances, and festivities.

takepart | makeart: arte para todos is open to the general public, with bilingual programming in English and Spanish. It provides an accessible platform for people of all ages to engage with local artists and generate dialogue about and within the Santa Barbara community.
