The Field to Vase Tour is a celebration of American-grown flowers and the beautiful places where they are grown. Lucky for locals, this year Carpinteria is proud to present father and son growers, Gallup & Stribling Orchids as part of the national tour. Case and Alex Van Wingerden nurture a plethora of beautiful orchids right alongside Carpinteria’s coast, which makes Gallup and Stribling Orchids one of very few orchid farms that exists within the U.S.

The event will combine floral arrangements with dining, set against a backdrop of the Southern California coastal sunset. Guests will be served a multi-course meal prepared by Rincon Catering, who are renowned for their made-from-scratch dishes. Celebrity florist Debi Lilly will artfully decorate the tabletops, gorgeously arranging the breathtaking orchids produced from Gallup and Stribling’s care.

The meal will be accompanied by an in-depth look into how Case and Alex produce their orchids. Should attendees wish to learn more about the flower plant, the VIP Farm Tour allows an hour-long tour of the farm prior to dinner.

This special meal will take place at Gallup and Stribling Orchids (3450 Via Real, Carpinteria) on March 30 at 5 p.m. Tickets are available online and questions can be directed to 916/441-1701.
