The vast majority of our food is produced using methods that reduce biodiversity, decimate soil and contribute to climate change. Patagonia Provisions (the film’s producer) believes that food can and should be grown, harvested and produced in ways that restore the land, water, wildlife and human health. Directed by Chris Malloy of Farm League, Unbroken Ground tells the story of four pioneering groups – and the people behind them – leading the way with regenerative agriculture, restorative grazing, new crop development and selective-harvest fishing.
The evening will include a screening of the 25-minute film followed by a panel discussion with director/filmmaker Malloy. Stick around and enjoy some local beer and taste Patagonia Provisions’ organic food sourced from partners featured in the film.
Full of Life Flatbread is located at 225 Bell St. in Los Alamos. Tickets are $35 and include dinner. For information call 805/344-4400.
