The Virtuosos Award was created to recognize a select group of actors who have distinguished themselves through performances in film in the past year.
The 31st annual Santa Barbara Film Festival will honor Elizabeth Banks (Love & Mercy), Joel Edgerton (Black Mass), Paul Dano (Youth, Love & Mercy), Jacob Tremblay (Room), Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl, Ex Machina), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) and Géza Röhrig (Son of Saul) as recipients for the 2016 Virtuosos Award. The diverse and talented group will be recognized for their overall career as well as their breakthrough roles this past year.
The Award presentation will take place on Sat., Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. at the Arlington Theatre (1317 State St.). Tickets for the Virtuosos Award presentation are available for purchase online here.
