Save the date! Santa Barbara Rescue Mission announces its 13th annual fundraiser Viva La Bayou at Rancho Dos Pueblos on October 4.

The event will honor Betty Rosness with the Léni Fé Bland Award. She will be recognized for her service to the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission and our community. Rosness was a long-serving board member for the Rescue Mission, including a tenure as board chair. Over the last 42 years, she has been involved with 39 nonprofits in Santa Barbara and Goleta.

The event includes a silent auction and food by Lorraine Lim Catering.

The proceeds will go towards the Mission’s 12-month residential recovery program, as well as to provide assistants to homeless guests.

Established in 1965, the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization that brings physical, emotional, educational and spiritual resources to individuals and families in need.

Rancho Dos Pueblos is located at Dos Pueblos Ranch, Goleta.
