In honor of the 30th Anniversary, SBIFF has added a 12th day, extending the movie-going experience for all.
The SBIFF team also introduces The Wave Film Festival July 16 – 20, 2014, a new summer foreign film festival. It will feature new French cinema during its inaugural year at the Riviera Theatre.
“It’s fitting that as we approach the 30th anniversary SBIFF expands its programming and have more of a year round presence with the Wave Film Festival. In the future we hope to have several editions — or ‘waves’ — throughout the year, allowing for longevity and continued growth for SBIFF as well as the Santa Barbara community,” says executive director Roger Durling.
The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is a celebration of cinema at several historical theaters in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara presenting a diverse slate of more than 200 films to over 75,000 film enthusiasts.
