Award-Winning Documentary “Dirty Wars” Screens at Campbell Hall

UCSB Arts & Lectures presents a screening of Dirty Wars, a gripping, Sundance award-winning documentary about America’s secret wars, on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at UCSB Campbell Hall. 

Dirty Wars (2013, 87 min.) follows investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill, author of the international best-seller Blackwater, into the heart of America’s covert wars, from Afghanistan to Yemen, Somalia and beyond. Part political thriller and part detective story, this award-winning film by director Richard Rowley is a gripping journey into one of the most important and underreported stories of our time.
