Calling all artists! The Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum (CAF) is pulling its fourth annual all-nighter and wants you to join!
From Dusk ‘til Drawn is CAF’s 24-hour drawing rally and annual fundraiser. This year, From Dusk ‘til Drawn will take place from Friday, June 28 at 5 p.m. to Saturday, June 29 at 5 p.m.
At this community event, seasoned artists work side-by-side with dabblers, drawing for as long as their hearts desire. At this event, “drawing” is a loosely interpreted term, with all ages and skill levels participating—it’s a great chance for students and admirers to work alongside local luminaries such as Phoebe Brunner, Ann Diener, Dane Goodman, Penelope Gottlieb, Saul Gray-Hildenbrand, Kimberly Hahn, Hugh Margerum, Ethan Turpin and James Van Arsdale.
Throughout the 24 hours, completed works are categorized as $25, $75, $150 or $300 pieces based on the artist and the drawing. Completed drawings are hung on the walls where the public may purchase them. Artists receive 50% of the proceeds from the pieces they sell and the other 50% benefits CAF—a nonprofit arts presenter—making this is a great opportunity to purchase original art pieces while supporting an incredible organization.
From Dusk ‘til Drawn is one of CAF’s most successful and fun fundraisers, and all community members are encouraged to participate! Prospective drawers may register to draw for any length of time during the 24-hour period, and pre-registration is required to participate. Registration closes June 14, so hurry for your chance to draw from dusk ‘til dawn!
To register, contact email@example.com before June 14.
