Bold wine, delicious food and fresh ingredients. As far as I’m concerned, that’s all it takes to grab my attention. Because of its incredible success, Wine Cask is once again partnering with Jaffurs Wine Cellars for the 3rd Annual Winemaker Dinner. It will be take place on Saturday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m at Wine Cask Restaurant.
Debuting its wines about two decades ago, Jaffurs is now known as the “King of Rhone Varietals” in Santa Barbara wine country. Wine Cask executive chef Brandon Hughes will crafted a delectable five-course dinner to complement the bold flavors of the Jaffurs wines, with courses such as roasted beets and baby carrots, roasted game bird, lamb chops, Wagyu New York steak with beef bacon hash and Chimay Reserve cheesecake. Each course has enticing side dishes and is paired with a different Jaffurs wine so you’ll get a little taste of everything.
Anyone else’s mouth watering? If you want to take part in this special dinner, buy your tickets now as they’ll sell out quickly! To reserve your spot, call Wine Cask at 805/966-9463.
