Tonight, March 8, Santa Barbara City College‘s Scheinfeld Center welcomes Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey to speak at its Enlightened Entrepreneurship Series in “A Conversation with Barefoot Wine Founders,” co-sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Small Business Development Center (SBDC). It will take place at the Fé Bland Forum on SBCC’s West Campus from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.The founders of Barefoot Wine, Houlihan and Harvey started off with no winery experience whatsoever, and now Barefoot Wine is one of the best-selling wine brands in the nation. This is a unique chance to hear about their journey and how they became such a success. Their conversation will be moderated by business professor Bonnie Chavez, and the audience will also have a chance to interact with them in a reception and networking session to follow.
“Bonnie and Michael are a dynamic team with a great story to share about critical lessons learned as they grew a major wine brand from literally nothing,” says Melissa Moreno, Scheinfeld Center’s director.
