In the words of John Denver, “Music does bring people together.” It doesn’t ring more true than right now, as the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony presents its first-ever collaborative concert. It will take place on Saturday, March 9 at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church and will be FREE  and open to the public.

On that Saturday, hundreds of students and their music teachers from all across the Santa Barbara area will join the Youth Symphony on stage. No matter their age or skill level, they will all perform side-by-side, demonstrating that music does indeed bring people together.

“We invite the community to discover the joy of these talented young students growing musically together,” says Amy Bassett, director of Education and Community Engagement.

Come show your support for this musical show of community, collaboration and friendship.
