Santa Barbara Urban Wine Trail and The Arts Fund Host a Night of Fine Wine

The Arts Fund and Urban Wine Trail are teaming together to host two events that will excite art and wine lovers alike. The first event, a Syrah Seminar guided by wine writer Gabe Saglie, will take place February 16 from 10 a.m.–noon, and feature five of Santa Barbara’s top Syrah producers. At the seminar, guests will taste the producers’ finest Syrahs and learn more about the inspiration behind each bottle.

The second event, The Grand Tasting, will carry over to the evening from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and offer guests a chance to indulge in an elegant night of wine, food, music and art. At the event, guests can taste and purchase world class Syrahs and more from the seventeen winemakers in the Urban Wine Trail, enjoy hors d’oeuvres made by local restaurants including Bella Vista at the Four Seasons, observe and purchase original art from local artists and participate in the live auction featuring unique getaway destinations. The auction will also include travel packages to Sonoma, San Francisco, Malibu and Los Angeles and will benefit The Arts Fund’s Community Gallery Program.

Participating Urban Wine Trail wineries include Au Bon Climat, Carr Winery, Cottonwood Canyon, Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room, Grassini Family Vineyards , Jaffurs Wines, Kalyra, Kunin Wines, Margerum Wine Company, Municipal Winemakers, Oreana Winery, Pali Wine Company, Santa Barbara Winery, Silver Wines, Whitcraft Winery and Summerland Winery.
